We invite you to join us Wednesday, October 18, 2017 for the Steve Young/Jerry Rice Bay Area Classic at CordeValle Golf Club. Funds raised at this event will benefit our 8 to 80 Zones, The Tech Museum, and Forever Young Foundation.
In 1993, Forever Young Foundation was established to support community projects and nonprofit organizations serving the therapeutic and academic needs of seriously ill and underprivileged children. Jerry and I continue to partner in creating 8 to 80 Zones, offering youth in underserved communities state-of-the-art equipment and training to pursue careers in technology and media. Forever Young’s newest initiative is Sophie’s Place, established in loving memory of singer, songwriter, and friend Sophie Barton. These rooms are special music therapy facilities to be built in children’s hospitals across the country caring for young people suffering from chronic illness or serious injury. Sophie’s Place will be an integral part of the exciting renovations at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.
Forever Young Foundation is proud to partner with The Tech Museum of Innovation. The Tech Museum strives to inspire the innovator in everyone and is committed to bringing science and technology to disadvantaged young people through it’s many educational programs, free field trips, and signature programs such as The Tech Challenge and The Tech Awards.
