On Monday, June 29th 2009, I will be joining some of my friends from the NFL, NBA, PGA and Major League Baseball to host the Steve Young Mountain Classic at Promontory - The Ranch Club in Park City, Utah. The funds raised by this event will benefit Forever Young Foundation and African Equity Fund. In 1993, I established Forever Young to support community projects and non-profit organizations effectively serving the therapeutic and academic needs of seriously ill and underprivileged children. We are proud to have African Equity Fund join us as our partner in this event. The African Equity Fund is dedicated to improving lives and communities in Africa by supporting education and entrepreneurship. We have included an information sheet identifying the sponsorships available. Following is a tentative schedule for the day’s events:
